Where can I find the Loco track to use in my entry?
-
What do you mean by "Get Loco" with my entry?
-
Great question. Love for our fire-grilled chicken should be front and center. We want to see some unique and engaging visuals, humor, an innovative concept, plus visual quality should be good. Get creative! Let our fire-grilled chicken be your muse – all you need to make sure is that you use that beat. Sing a hook, write a verse, shred a kazoo, animate a music video, perform an interpretive dance – the more Loco the better.

How do I Remix the audio?
-
Here’s how to Remix with both audios playing:
1. Start the Remix — Find the Reel you want to duet, tap the three dots (⋯), and select Remix this reel.
2. Wear headphones/earbuds while recording — This is the key trick. When you wear headphones, the original Reel's audio plays in your ears so you can hear it and sing/perform along, but it doesn't bleed into your microphone recording. Your mic captures only your voice/audio.
3. Record your part — Hit record and perform your audio on top. The original video plays side-by-side (or in another layout you choose).
4. Use the "Mix Audio" slider — After recording, tap the Audio or Mix Audio option in the editor. This gives you a volume slider that controls the balance between:
- The original Reel's audio
- Your recorded audio - Set both to audible levels so the final product has both layers playing together — like a duet/remixed song.Tips for Best Results
• Headphones are essential — Without them, the original audio plays through your phone speaker and gets picked up by the mic, creating echo/distortion.
• Adjust the mix before posting — Play it back and tweak the slider so neither audio overpowers the other.
• Choose a layout — You can pick side-by-side, green screen, or other Remix layouts depending on how you want the visual to look.
