El Pollo Loco Online Sweepstakes

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. PROMOTION PERIOD AND ELIGIBILITY: The El Pollo Loco Online Sweepstakes (”Sweepstakes”) runs Monday, March 15^th, 2010 at 12:00AM PST through Friday, March 19^th, 2010 at 4:00PM PST only. The Sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents only who are at least 18 years old on March 15^th, 2010. Employees of El Pollo Loco, Inc. (”EPL”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees and agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, children, siblings, parents and their respective spouses) are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. TO ENTER SWEEPSTAKES: To enter the Sweepstakes, replace your Twitter profile image with the image of your favorite El Pollo Loco Sirloin Steak menu item. Then, send out a tweet on Twitter with the following hash tag: #eplsteaktostada. Limit one Sweepstakes entry per user or email address each calendar day. Tweets must be posted between March 15^th, 2010 at 12:00AM PST to Friday, March 19^th, 2010 at 4:00PM PST. A calendar day shall be deemed to start at 12:00AM PST on a given day and end at 11:59:59PM PST on that same day, except that on March 19^th, 2010, which calendar day shall be deem to end on 4:00PM PST. EPL is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected Sweepstakes entries.

3. HOW TO WIN: Each day of the Sweepstakes, at approximately 4:00PM PST, one Grand Prize winner and five 2^nd Prize winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries received.

4. PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE/APPROXIMATE ODDS OF WINNING: Five (5) Grand Prize winners (one drawn each day of the contest) will receive flame-grilled sirloin steak entrees for a year, which consist of 52 Sirloin Steak entrée vouchers (expires 3/15/2011). Vouchers are redeemable for one free sirloin steak entree at participating El Pollo Loco Restaurants. Sirloin Steak entrees include: Steak & 3-Cheese Quesadilla, Steak Tostada Salad, Steak Taco, Sirloin Bowl and Grillmaster Steak Taco. Winner may only redeem one certificate per week. Approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $311.48. Twenty-five (25) 2^nd place winners (five drawn each day of the contest) will receive a ”We Heart Steak” t-shirt. Approximate retail value of the prize is $10. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. PRIZE AWARD: Winners will be contacted by EPL via Twitter and instructed to email age, complete name, address and contact phone numbers to Christina Fumia (cfumia@elpolloloco.com). Winners must provide requested information by April 19, 2010 to receive the prize. Taxes resulting from the acceptance of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize substitution or transfers allowed. Prize is not redeemable for cash and no change will be given. Prize can not be combined with any other offers. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. Sweepstakes entries are subject to verification.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant agrees to these Official Rules. All Sweepstakes materials (including prize claims) submitted become the sole property of EPL and can be used in future marketing campaigns online or otherwise. Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal and state laws. By entering, entrant also agrees to release and hold EPL, its franchisees, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents harmless against any and all claims and liabilities related to the acceptance of a prize or participation in Sweepstakes. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s names, likenesses and/or biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited or as restricted by law. Sweepstakes entries are void if not obtained through authorized channels or if Sweepstakes entry is misdirected or otherwise not received on the official El Pollo Loco, Inc. Twitter page. EPL is not responsible for lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries. EPL reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time and select the winners from among all eligaible entries received prior to termination.
