The crunchy taste sensation returns on July 24^th with a twist-- the opportunity to enjoy it with El Pollo Loco's famous flame-grilled chicken or new citrus-marinated, flame-grilled Carne Asada style Sirloin steak. Available through the end of September, 2010, the Queso Crunch Burrito combines plenty of El Pollo Loco's citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken or carne asada with Jack cheese & poblano queso, fresh Pico de Gallo salsa, crispy tortilla strips and optional jalapeno slices. Wrapped in a large flour tortilla, the burrito is then grilled to mouthwatering perfection.

El Pollo Loco Debuts Two Flavor-Packed Flame-Grilled Chicken Sandwiches

Beginning May 1, El Pollo Loco proves once and for all that good things come to those who wait with the lasting addition of two sensational new sandwiches to its menu -- the Guacamole Grilled Chicken Sandwich and the Jalapeno Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Both sandwiches begin with a citrus-marinated chicken breast grilled to perfection over open flames by El Pollo Loco’s expert grill masters. The chicken is then placed on an authentic grilled telera roll (Mexican style soft bread used for traditional torta sandwiches) and topped with shredded lettuce and fresh Pico de Gallo. From there the sandwiches each take a distinctive twist. A generous helping of tasty guacamole completes the Guacamole Chicken Sandwich. Sliced jalapenos, Pepper Jack cheese and spicy Southwest sauce kick up the flavor of the Jalapeno Chicken Sandwich.

El Pollo Loco’s new Grilled Carne Asada Steak Tostada Salad combines crisp lettuce, pinto beans, Spanish rice, and Jack and Cheddar cheeses with plenty of chopped citrus-marinated, flame- grilled Sirloin steak. Topped with sour cream and fresh Pico de Gallo and served with El Pollo Loco’s signature Creamy Cilantro dressing, the salad comes in a crisp tostada shell bowl.
