Habitat for Humanity - First Ever Youth Build

Pacoima, CA

Students from across North LA City and County helped with the building of homes and a community playground to provide affordable homes to low-income families. Building along side the youths were young television actors, Doug and Chris Brochu from the Disney Channel. 

 

EPL Charities served food to over 300 volunteers.

Northern Trust PGA Tour

Held at the Riveria Country Club in Pacific Palisades, El Pollo Loco Charities served food to over 150 military men, women and their families at the Patriots Outpost on the 10th green. 


The net proceeds from the tournament will continue to support numerous Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce community service projects targeting at-risk youth. Also, the tournament will honor Los Angeles area military service members, veterans and their families.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles celebrated the completion of 10-home community in Lynwood.

 

El Pollo Loco provided lunch to the families of the new homes and the volunteers who helped in the completion of the new homes.

FERIA DE ESPERANZA (HOPE FAIR)”

PADRES CONTRA EL CANCER’S “5TH ANNUAL FERIA DE ESPERANZA (HOPE FAIR)”

 

El Pollo Loco teams from our Pasadena and San Gabriel restaurants provided delicious chicken meals to over 200 families with their children who have cancer. The event provided education on nutrition, exercise and emotional well-being and celebrated family, life and most of all, HOPE.

El Pollo Loco Supports Modern House Call For Women

El Pollo Loco served food to over 600 volunteers (physicians, therapists, financial counselors, and more) during a three-day clinic held at California State University, Long Beach.  Hosted by Honorary Chair, California's First Lady Maria Shriver, medical staff provided  free medical and financial services to Long Beach women in need.

Family Day 2010
Hosted by Honorary Chair, California First Lady Maria Shriver, Family Day encourages families to spend time together by dining out.  Held at the Santa Monica YMCA, El Pollo Loco was honored to serve our delicious, healthful flame-grilled chicken and side dishes to approximately 1,000 people.

El Pollo Loco Supports WriteGirls

El Pollo Loco Charities proudly host a delicous EPL lunch for 140 girls participateing in WriteGirl, a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging teen girls to express their feelings through poems and short stories. The girls meet monthly with writers and publishers to hone their craft.

Boys & Girls Club Youth of the Year

El Pollo Loco was proud to support the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica through our participation in the 43rd Annual Youth of the Year Awards Banquet.
