Wendy Yazdani - Manager, Office Services
Started with El Pollo Loco in 1996

“El Pollo Loco’s Support Center is a great place to work!!  I really enjoy working in a bright, colorful, open office full of really down to earth people.  I have been with the company for 15 years and have worked with many of the same people the entire time.  If that doesn’t say something about what a great company this is, I don’t know what would.  We all work very hard and still find time to have fun!”

Wendy began her career with El Pollo Loco as an Administrative Assistant and is now the Manager of Office Services for the Support Center.  She is widely regarded by our restaurants and our office staff as one of the most helpful people in our Support Center.

“El Pollo Loco really spoils their employees.  We have two break rooms with soda fountains, coffee, tea and other refreshments available to all employees.  Users of the Loco Lounge enjoy an LCD TV, and we make frequent use of our Wii Game.  Our Fiesta Committee plans fun events for the office each month and gives away prizes.”  Wendy is an active member of both the Fiesta Committee and El Pollo Loco Charities.

“I started with El Pollo Loco as an Assistant Manager and was then promoted to a General Manager.  As a General Manager I was given the opportunity to open new restaurants throughout the country.” Mark saw firsthand the many opportunities that El Pollo Loco had to offer.  “My next opportunity was in the training department where my new responsibilities included training new managers, rolling out new products and the company-wide implementation of a new POS system,” an enormous project that Mark is very proud to have completed.  Mark emphasizes, “I have been given highly diverse roles that support the operations of a restaurant company.  These opportunities have prepared me for my current role of Director of Operations Services.”

 Throughout Mark’s long and successful career he has had opportunities to work on many large and innovative projects. He has held pivotal roles in Restaurant Operations, Training and Operations Services.

Mark adds, “My responsibilities have gone from the basic tactics of preparing the food and serving the customers to focusing on developing and supporting system-wide strategic initiatives of the company operations.”

When Clark joined El Pollo Loco he was single and took a position as a Systems Developer in the Information Technology department.  Now married with two small children, he is the Senior Manager of IT.  The wide range of benefits and options available to him have served him well.  Clark believes “the benefits I receive are only one of the many good reasons why I chose a career at El Pollo Loco."
